"The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has reviewed of the final Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) and support documentation for the Middle Sangamon River. The River is located in central Illinois and flows in a westerly direction in Macon, Christian and Sangamon Counties, and a small portion in Logan County (IDs E-05, E-06, E-09 and E-16 in the Sangamon River). The TMDLs address four fecal coliform impairments in the Middle Sangamon River"--Approval letter.
