During this period two meetings of the Association were held One at Indianapolis, Indiana, on December 27, 1910, and the other at Chicago and Evanston, Illinois, on May 18, 19, and 20, 1911. The regular mid-year meeting was held at Indianapolis, Indiana, in connection with the regular annual meetings of the American Historical Asso ciation and the Ohio Valley Historical Association. The chicagof-evanston meeting was the fourth annual meeting of the Association. Papers and addresses delivered at these two meetings are included in this volume. There was also held in connection with the chicago-evanston meeting Of the Mississippi Valley Historical Association a session Of the North Central History Teachers Asso-cia tion. The papers read at this session Of the North Cen tral History Teachers Association are accordingly in cluded in this volume.
