The report contains the observed and interpolated temperature and salinity data plus the computed sigma-t, geopotential anomalies and sound velocities for 112 oceanographic stations occupied by six U.S. Coast Guard cutters at Ocean Station CHARLIE (centered at 52 degrees 45'N, 35 degrees 30'W) during May 1966-March 1967. They were the CGC DUANE, 5-26 May 1966; CGC HALF MOON, 20 June-11 July 1966; CGC HUMBOLDT, 3-25 August 1966; CGC BIBB, 17 September-3 October 1966; CGC BARATARIA, 25 November-17 December 1966; and CGC MENDOTA, 23 February-17 March 1967. Daily casts of 10-14 Nansen bottles were made to 1500 meters when weather conditions permitted. In addition, sampling was successfully extended to near the bottom on at least one station during each patrol. (Author).

The report contains the observed and interpolated temperature and salinity data plus the computed sigma-t, geopotential anomalies and sound velocities for 48 oceanographic stations occupied by three U.S. Coast Guard cutters at Ocean Station CHARLIE (centered at 52 deg 45 min N., 35 deg 30 min W.) during June 1964-January 1965. They were the CGC INGHAM, 14-30 June; CGC SPENCER, 5-14 August; CGC MENDOTA, 27 November-15 December and CGC INGHAM, 7-26 January. Daily casts of 10-14 Nansen bottles were made to 1500 meters when weather conditions permitted. (Author).

Oceanographic data from ten cruises on Ocean Station CHARLIE (52 deg 45 min N, 35 deg 30 min W) during the period April 1967 to April 1968 are presented. These data consist of observed and interpolated temperature and salinity data from 187 shallow (= or 1500 meters) and 7 deep ( 1500 meters) casts. Temperature-depth and salinity-depth distribution plots show that the temperature distribution follows a seasonal trend, but the salinity distribution is more diverse. Temperature-salinity plots for the deep casts indicate the presence of Labrador Sea Water and Northeast Atlantic Deep Water. (Modified author abstract).
