On a donc dit de l'aurore, non seulement qu'elle enfante la lumiere, III, 61, 4, mais qu'elle fait briller, VII, 80, 2, et, en propres termes, qu'elle enfante le soleil, VII, 78, 3. Fils de l'aurore, le soleil est aussi son amant et son epoux. D'abord il la poursuit, 1, 56, 4; IX, 84, 2, comme un homme qui poursuit une femme, I, 115, 2.
