George M. Dexter, Simeon Borden. William P. Parrott, their associates and successors, are hereby made a corporation by the name of The Boston Society of Civil Engineers, for the purpose of promoting science and instruction in the department of Civil Engineering, with all the powers and privileges, and subject to all the duties liabilities, and restrictions set.
