The Fred H. Bosselman (German name: Borstelmann) family in America: Carsten Borstelmann (1845-1923) married in 1872 Mary Koch (1841-1925). Mary immigrated to the U.S. in 1846. Carsten and his family immigrated to the U.S. in 1872. He and Mary were married in Brighton, Michigan and moved to Nebraska in 1873. Their son Charles (1874-1946) married first, Linda Klingenberg in 1894. She died in 1906. They were the parents of 4 children. Charles married second, Johanna Von Aschenbeck in 1908.
