Have you ever been discouraged? Has life in general left you down in the dumps? My experiences as a teacher, principal, pastor, husband, father of five, grandfather of twelve and volunteer worker in several overseas countries have convinced me of the need for uplifting articles in our society. Over the last few years I have contributed a weekly column to the on-line newspaper Oliver Daily News in order to inject some of that into the community. I was urged to compile them into a book. The goal is to validate faith in the principles taught in God's Word as the means for gaining a positive outlook on life. Many of them are based on personal experiences but some are gleaned from the sources indicated.
