Excerpt from Travels in France and Italy: In 1817 and 1818 Be It Remembered, that on the thirtieth day of January, in the forty-fifth year of the Independence of the United States of America, William Berrian, of the said District, hath deposited in this office the title of a Book, the right whereof he claims as Author, in the words and figures following, to wit: "Travels in France and Italy, in 1817 and 1818.
