"There is always tomorrow" is something that I try to remind myself every day. My heavenly father has given me a faith that I rely on daily to make it through the challenges of life. We all have challenges we must face. Many times, the challenges and burdens we face can make me or you feel as if there is no way out. When you look to God and the strength inside yourself, there is always a way through all the storms of life. We all have an inner strength that oftentimes we don't know we have until we need it. Heavenly father never leaves us alone. He is always with you or me. We all have a spirit of a warrior inside us all. Having a warrior spirit does not mean that you will not be hurt or scarred by the trials of life. Usually, the opposite is true if we pray and listen to our hearts and do what God wants us to do. Then we will be able to navigate through the storms of life. God has given us this life and as part of it has given us the tools to make it through the journey we call life. When you feel as if you can't handle one more thing that life can throw at you, remember to look to God and there is always tomorrow. Never give up on life or yourself. There is always a reason to look toward tomorrow. We are all special.

In September 1918, World War I was nearing its end when Marguerite E. Harrison, a thirty-nine-year-old Baltimore socialite, wrote to the head of the U.S. Army’s Military Intelligence Division (MID) asking for a job. The director asked for clarification. Did she mean a clerical position? No, she told him. She wanted to be a spy. Harrison, a member of a prominent Baltimore family, usually got her way. She had founded a school for sick children and wangled her way onto the staff of the Baltimore Sun. Fluent in four languages and knowledgeable of Europe, she was confident she could gather information for the U.S. government. The MID director agreed to hire her, and Marguerite Harrison became America’s first female foreign intelligence officer. For the next seven years, she traveled to the world’s most dangerous places—Berlin, Moscow, Siberia, and the Middle East—posing as a writer and filmmaker in order to spy for the U.S. Army and U.S. Department of State. With linguistic skills and knack for subterfuge, Harrison infiltrated Communist networks, foiled a German coup, located American prisoners in Russia, and probably helped American oil companies seeking entry into the Middle East. Along the way, she saved the life of King Kong creator Merian C. Cooper, twice survived imprisonment in Russia, and launched a women’s explorer society whose members included Amelia Earhart and Margaret Mead. As incredible as her life was, Harrison has never been the subject of a published book-length biography. Past articles and chapters about her life relied heavily on her autobiography published in 1935, which omitted and distorted key aspects of her espionage career. Elizabeth Atwood draws on newly discovered documents in the U.S. National Archives, as well as Harrison’s prison files in the archives of the Russian Federal Security Bureau in Moscow, Russia. Although Harrison portrayed herself as a writer who temporarily worked as a spy, this book documents that Harrison’s espionage career was much more extensive and important than she revealed. She was one of America’s most trusted agents in Germany, Russia and the Middle East after World War I when the United States sought to become a world power.

Studies the cultural impact and audience reception of King Kong from the 1933 release of the original film until today. In Tracking King Kong Cynthia Erb charts the cultural significance of the character of King Kong, from the early 1930s, when Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack’s classic film King Kong was first released, to Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake. Although King Kong has received much academic attention over the past twenty-five years, the bulk of these analyses deal with the film’s human characters rather than Kong himself. In this revised edition of an influential study, Erb argues that King Kong is a particular kind of cultural outsider who represents a cross-penetration of American notions of exoticism and monstrosity. Tracking King Kong considers problems such as race and gender in the King Kong tradition, as well as historical, international, and contemporary audience and fan responses to this classic film and its popular protagonist. Erb begins her examination of King Kong in the 1930s, when the original film was produced and released, extending through the 1970s, when the film and its hero reached the height of their cultural visibility in a remake by Dino De Laurentiis, and concluding with a look at Peter Jackson’s version in 2005. The book includes a detailed production history of the original 1933 film based on primary historical and archival sources; a genre study examining Kong’s relations to horror, jungle adventure, and travel documentary genres; an analysis of Kong’s influence on the Japanese film Godzilla; and a look at sequels, remakes, and spinoffs related to King Kong, such as Mighty Joe Young. Erb also analyzes Jackson’s remake of King Kong, to determine how and why Jackson revised the main character, casting him as a melancholy hero. The revised edition of Tracking King Kong updates a groundbreaking study of King Kong as the iconic character enters the twenty-first century. Scholars of film and television studies as well as general readers interested in film and popular culture will appreciate this significant volume.

Roderic B. Davis, Sr., is better known as "Coach Barry" or "Barry." Coach Barry has been coaching since 1976, when he was 19 years old. Due to his coaching and interacting with youth and their parents, he has had plenty of opportunities to talk to both, his players and their parents, about different situations in their life. He soon found out that coaching just for that particular sport was not the only reason why he was coaching. Everyday issues and situations about day-to-day life was the priority. When Barry talked to them, not having the time to think of a politically correct response or a perfect answer, God blessed him to be able to speak to them from his heart. Barry realized he was coaching for life. Today, he still teaches and coaches basketball, while giving life lessons with a common sense approach. It is said, "Common Sense" is not all that common. From My Heart shows how regular everyday issues and situations can either be solved, or changed for the better, by using plain old common sense. From My Heart will make people sit-up and take inventory of their lives to see if there was anything they could have done better, and if there is anything they can do better to improve their life. From My Heart is a book filled with God inspired messages. It was written to help people deal with life's issues and situations. As you read, you will see Barry has a passion for children, families, and people in general, who are trying to live their lives the best way they can. These messages are about all different aspects of life. Even though common sense may not seem to be that common, sooner or later, common sense has gotta kick in.
