The self-concept (SC) is also one of the important factors contributing to the development of personality and boosting AA. SC, along with the psychological atmosphere at home, influences the AA. Hence, the present research was planned to investigate the effect of HE, family types (FT), and SC on AA of the students. Both, HE and SC will largely contribute to acceleration of adolescents' AA. The way person has been raised, his elementary, secondary and advanced education, his friends, his religion, his political group, his neighborhood, all may hold or hinder his AA. The environmental influence starts very early in lifetime, that is, right from the perinatal developmental stage of the child. Home is the most important part of the environment, where child is brought up and spends years of his/her life. When the child starts going to school, he/she is there only for a part of time, spending only few hours there in studying, while spends rest of the time at the home. Home is the beginning point of individual's life and various factors associated with the HE may affect or influence AA of the child. Besides, socioeconomic status of the family, some of the HE factors were found to have an impact on AA of the child: the attitude of the parents towards the education of child and kind of relations among family members (Samul,1986),
