The integrating concept of mission value through use of goal lattice (GL) methodology is explored. Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) is today a core capability for the modern military, in peacetime and in war. The Navy has put forth a new construct for its strike forces that enables more effective forward deterrence and rapid response. This book presents the work of the RILEM Technical Committee 259-ISR. Addressing two complementary but fundamental issues: the kinetics of the reaction, and how this will affect the integrity of the structure (serviceability and strength), it also provides methodology for assessing past deterioration to enable readers to make engineering/science-based predictions concerning future expansion.
