Megalithic remains are still scattered across the countryside thousands of years after being built, and their meaning - like dreams - are often the subject of intense and varying interpretation. Ordinary folk have been unexpectedly touched by these ancient sites, had the most inexplicable experiences, and have felt their own lives enlarged. In the first book of its kind Alan Richardson has brought together a collection of astounding experiences from a cross section of people, including leading mediums, psychics, shamans, druids, exorcists, witches, remote viewers, magicians and mystics of every tradition - as well as ordinary day-trippers who have found that the ancient sites have in some way 'spoken' to them. More, he shows that not only are there are secrets buried within the countryside of every nation, which the mystics, mediums and magicians can help us find, but that there are secret places within the mind that are aligned to stars, and planets, energies and entities, and which - apparently - can take us across Time and within ourselves. The author's approach to the work was quite simple. As well as plundering published sources he sent flyers off to every interested party he could think of, taking in the full range of New Age beliefs. He asked them to send him details of their experiences at the ancient places, asked them to ask their friends, and assured them that he was not going to put them in competition, or mock or scorn. On top of this he also recruited the talents of several individuals from very different Traditions and went around specific sites with them, recording what - if anything - they saw at each place. He assured them that they would not be, at any point or in any way, in competition with each other, or under any pressure to perform, psychically.

Jack Hobbes finally had to admit that all the Conspiracy Theories were right - every damned one of them - when he found himself driving his Mobile Library at speed down narrow Wiltshire roads at dawn, pursued by implacable Frenchmen who were not sure whether the sealed box he had strapped onto the passenger seat contained either a see-through electric kettle from Argos, or the preserved head of John the Baptist. On top of all that he then had to contend with the real Men in Black and the Trans-Galactics, plus MI5, the CIA, Opus Dei, numerous Freemasons and neo-Templars, Knights of the Star Gates, and various incarnate aspects of the Wild Hunt - who had been hiding for years in a certain little Old Peoples' Home in rural Wiltshire. And it had all been caused by two silly women - Jenny Djinn and Lilith Love - who just happened to also be Death Goddesses, and who fell for the same Mobile Librarian in a small Wiltshire town that was named after trolls...

Selected letters of occult author Gareth Knight, written over a period of forty years and to over seventy different people. These include learned discourse with academics, exchanges of strange experiences with esoteric colleagues, and advice to seekers trying to find their path. The letters reveal extraordinary, entertaining and personal details of the life and work of a contemporary occultist. "One fault of many occult students is to read too much ... all too often the new student is so interested in reading the latest thing that he never gets round to actually doing any of it." "I suppose you can at least feel what it is like to be 'a lone voice crying in the wilderness' ... I think even John the Baptist, in time, would have packed up his traps, said 'Sod it' (or 'Sod them') and gone home, maybe to start a locust and wild honey farm." "Your remark that the devil works by compromise and subtlety is altogether too glib a simplification. He works equally well through uncompromising 'principles' very often. The thing that bothers me though is your preoccupation with the insinuations of the devil, which seems at times to verge on 'old maid's insanity'. I get the impression - I hope wrongly - that I stand a good chance of being cast in the role of the serpent offering the poisoned, or forbidden fruit."

How sacred sites amplify the energies of consciousness, the earth, and the universe • Examines the web of geometrical patterns linking sacred sites worldwide, with special focus on the sacred network of ley lines in Paris • Unveils the coming state of shared consciousness for humanity fueled by the sacred network • Reveals how consciousness is a tangible form of energy First marked by the standing stones of our megalithic ancestors, the world’s sacred sites are not only places of spiritual energy but also hubs of cosmic energy and earthly energy. Generation upon generation has recognized the power of these sites, with the result that each dominant culture builds their religious structures on the same spots--the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, for example, was constructed over a Temple to Diana that in turn had been built over a stone pillar worshipped by the Gauls. In The Sacred Network, Chris Hardy shows how the world’s sacred sites coincide with the intersections of energetic waves from the earth’s geomagnetic field and how--via their megaliths, temples, and steeples--these sites act as antennae for the energies of the cosmos. Delving deeply in to Paris’s sacred network, she also explores the intricate geometrical patterns created by the alignments of churches and monuments, such as pentagrams and Stars of David. Revealing that consciousness is a tangible energy, she explains how the sacred network is fueling an 8,000-year evolutionary cycle initiated by our megalithic ancestors that will soon culminate in a new state of shared consciousness for humanity.
