Work is core to our lives. And the gospel is core to our faith. In this Bible study, author and executive coach Stephen Graves introduces a fresh framework that explores not only how the gospel should shape our work but also how it could. Too often taking our faith into the workplace amounts to evangelism or moral responsibility. Although there is certainly nothing wrong with either practice, this study takes us further into our faith in such a way that we embody the gospel as a part of our work, office, home, or anywhere work may take us. This study employs a Four-Act Gospel: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Renewal. Using this approach, we can be in the business of both helping individuals know Jesus and contributing to God's mission of renewing the world. Applying the Four-Act Gospel to our work is captured in the Baseline (the lowest-common-denominator application of the gospel that is relevant to all workers) and the Blue Sky (individualized applications of the gospel to each person's particular wiring and particular organizations). This framework helps us understand the reach, power, and intent of the gospel's going to work. These are revolutionary insights, even for veterans of the faith. This Bible-study experience includes free downloadable panel discussions and "The Gospel Goes to Work" podcast series. These tools allow groups to participate from practically anywhere and in any way they like, whether in a restaurant, in a coffee shop, in a classroom, or even via email or mobile technology. The Gospel Goes to Work Bible Study Book includes exercises and discussion for individuals and groups, along with links to free video downloads and additional enrichment tools. Session Topics: 1. The Gospel and Work 2. What Should We Do? Lessons from John the Baptist 3. Individual Baseline: David's Personal Calling 4. Individual Blue Sky: Take the Armor 5. Organizational Baseline: Character Within the Context of Calling 6. Organizational Blue Sky: Aligning Personal and Public Expressions of Faith Features: - Free downloadable videos with author Stephen Graves and a host of contributors from all walks of working life - Additional enrichment content and exercises available as free downloads - Short, daily readings for ongoing spiritual growth - "The Gospel Goes to Work" supplemental podcast - Six-session Bible Study Book with group- and personal-study components Benefits: - Push beyond Christian values and personal evangelism as the only ways of taking the gospel to work, and learn new ways to completely embody the gospel in your work. - Get beyond the minimum expressions of your faith at work to see more clearly the ways work itself is a service to God. - Become better acquainted with the minimal biblical expectations of all believers in the workplace. - Discover unique gospel applications for your particular organization or workplace. - Learn how the rigors of the workday keep your faith strong and vibrant. - Incorporate the power of the gospel more effectively into the details of your everyday life.

Find God’s vision for your job. Reclaim God’s vision for your life. Many Christians fall victim to one of two main problems when it comes to work: either they are idle in their work, or they have made an idol of it. Both of these mindsets are deadly misunderstandings of how God intends for us to think about our employment. In The Gospel at Work, Sebastian Traeger and Greg Gilbert unpack the powerful ways in which the gospel can transform how we do what we do, releasing us from the cultural pressures of both an all-consuming devotion and a punch-in, punch-out mentality—in order to find the freedom of a work ethic rooted in serving Christ. You’ll find answers to some of the tough questions that Christians in the workplace often ask: What factors should matter most in choosing a job? What gospel principles should shape my thinking about how to treat my boss, my co-workers, and my employees? Is full-time Christian work more valuable than my job? Is it okay to be motivated by money? How do you prioritize—or balance—work, family and church responsibilities? Solidly grounded in the gospel, The Gospel at Work confronts both our idleness at work and our idolatry of work with a challenge of its own—to remember that whom we work for is infinitely more important than what we do.

The problem isn’t sex. God designed sex; and sex is good. Sex is a powerful union that brings men and women together. But when sex is distorted by sin, the misuse of our sexuality can alienate us from one another, causing immense harm and pain. Enter pornography—the most prevalent distortion of sexual sin in America. Pornography is not only a problem in terms of personal morality, but a social epidemic that is making the possibility of sexually-fulfilled marriages harder to achieve. It is rewiring our brains to think about sexuality in destructive ways. We have a very serious problem, and it’s not isolated to any one segment of culture. So, what now? Editors Russell Moore and Andrew T. Walker of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) assemble leading voices to frame the issue with a gospel-centered perspective. The Gospel for Life series gives every believer a biblically-saturated understanding of the most urgent issues facing our culture today, because the gospel is for all of life.

Nearly every church is trying to help their congregants build relationships with others, grow as disciples, and/or engage in meaningful service through small groups. Many have argued that these small groups are the preferred vehicle for relationship building, disciple making, and membership assimilation in the local church, especially in large, multisite churches. Leading Small Groups That Thrive shows small group leaders, step by step, how to plan for, launch, build, sustain, and multiply highly effective, transformational, healthy small group experiences where people grow spiritually together. Based on a large-scale research study of small group pastors, leaders, and members, Leading Small Groups That Thrive gives church leaders both what they want--practical, straightforward, actual small group member voices and experiences, and compelling guidance on how to build transformational groups complemented with real-life examples and data of successful small groups--and what they need--substantial, challenging insights and a data-driven model grounded in the latest research on church small groups.
