DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe Australian dairy industry was deregulated on 1 July 2000. The Commonwealth established the Dairy Industry Adjustment Package to assist dairy farmers to make the transition to a deregulated environment. The package consists of the Dairy Structural Adjustment Program (DSAP) and the Supplementary Dairy Assistance Program (SDA), and this audit assessed the Commonwealth's administration of those programs.
