The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1989, volume 2, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from March 15 through December 17, 1989. At the end of the first week in March Brother Lee traveled to Taipei, Taiwan, and remained there until the end of the third week in March. He then visited Quezon City, Philippines, and Taichung and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, before returning to Taipei at the beginning of April. He remained in Taipei until the end of the third week in April and then visited Seoul, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan, before returning to Anaheim, California, in the middle of May. At the end of the third week in May Brother Lee visited Cleveland, Ohio, and Newton and Cambridge, Massachusetts, until the end of the first week in June. At that time he returned to Anaheim and remained there until the end of 1989. The contents of this volume are divided into twelve sections, as follows: 1. Eleven messages given in Taipei and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on March 15 through April 23. These messages were previously published in Chinese and English in a book entitled The New Testament Priests of the Gospel and are included in this volume under the same title. 2. Seven messages given in Chinese in Quezon City, Philippines, on March 23 through 26. These messages were previously published in Chinese and English in a book entitled The Riches and Fullness of Christ and the Advanced Recovery of the Lord Today and are included in this volume under the same title. 3. Two messages given in Chinese in Quezon City, Philippines, on March 23 and 24. These messages are included in this volume under the title The God-ordained Way for the Increase and Building Up of the Church. 4. Two messages given in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on April 1. The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1990, volume 2, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from February 10 through December 21, 1990. During the first three months of 1990 Brother Lee was in Anaheim, California. In early April he traveled to Taipei, Taiwan, and at the end of that month he visited Hualien, Taiwan. He returned to Anaheim in the first part of May and remained there until the end of the third week in August. During that time he visited Long Beach, California. At the end of August Brother Lee visited San Francisco, San Jose, and Berkeley, California. In early September he returned to Anaheim and remained there until the middle of October. During that period he briefly visited San Diego and San Bernardino, California. In the middle of October Brother Lee traveled to the Far East and remained there until the first part of November. During that period he visited Taipei and then Kota Kinabalu, Sibu, Kuching, and Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. In the middle of November he returned to Anaheim and remained there until the end of the year. The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1989, volume 1, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from January 1 through November 21, 1989. In 1989 Brother Lee spoke fifty-two messages that were published in the Life-study of Numbers. These Life-study messages are not included in The Collected Works of Witness Lee. Brother Lee remained in Irving, Texas, during the first part of January 1989. He returned to Anaheim, California, in the second week of January and remained there until the end of the third week. At the end of the month he visited Hacienda Heights and San Diego, California, and returned to Anaheim in the beginning of February. From the second week in February through the end of the month he visited San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Pleasant Hill, Berkeley, and San Gabriel, California, before returning to Anaheim. The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1963, volume 2, contains the messages and fellowship given by Brother Witness Lee from April 6 through July 7, 1963, with the exception of messages he gave in a series on the Gospel of John, which are published in Life-study of John (not included in The Collected Works). A series of messages composed from personal notes taken by several individuals in various meetings held throughout the period. These include nine messages given in Los Angeles on Saturday mornings from April 6 through May 25; two messages given in Sacramento on May 30; and a report given in Los Angeles on June 14 concerning Brother Lee's visit to the San Francisco Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. These messages are included in this volume under the title Various Speakings. Brother Lee gave two additional messages in Sacramento on Lord's Day, June 2, of which there is no record. 5. Seven fellowship meetings held with the leading ones in Los Angeles and Chula Vista, California, from April 21 through June 24. These messages are included in this volume under the title Fellowship with the Leading Ones. The contents were composed from personal notes taken by brothers who were present in the meetings. 6. Eight messages given in Eugene, Salem, and Portland on June 4 through 9. These messages have been published under the title The Living That Fulfills God's Eternal Purpose. One message was given in Eugene, one in Salem, and six in Portland. According to the record of these meetings, Brother Lee gave a second message in Salem on the subject of "Following the Lord in the Spirit," but the record of this message is not available. 7. Three messages given at a conference in San Francisco on June 11 through 13. These messages are included in this volume under the title Transformation for God's Building. 8. Fourteen messages given in Los Angeles on June 29 through July 7. These messages have been published under the title The Central Thought of God.

The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1952, volume 2, contains messages given or published by Brother Witness Lee in 1952. Historical information concerning Brother Lee's travels and the content of his ministry in 1952 can be found in the general preface that appears at the beginning of this set. The contents of this volume are divided into three sections, as follows: 1. Five messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, in the summer of 1952. These messages originally appeared in the periodical The Ministry of the Word in 1964 and 1965. They were also previously published in a book entitled The Vision, Ministry, and Leading of the Lord's Serving Ones and are included in this volume under the same title. 2. Nine messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, in the summer of 1952. These messages were previously published in a book entitled How to Administrate the Church and are included in this volume under the same title. 3. Thirty-four messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, on September 22 through November 7, 1952. These messages are included in this volume under the title Revelations in Romans: Seeing God's Complete Salvation.
