A constitutional quorum appearing, and the President and Adsessor being absent, the Rev. James V. C. Romeyn was elected President pro tem. A committee from the Board of Trustees of Queens College having appeared on the floor of Synod and a representation having been made of their desire of being early discharged from attendance on this body. Therefore Resolved, That Synod immediately attend to the business intrusted to the committee of the Board of Trustees. The Rev. Peter Labagh and Mr. Jacob R. Hardenbergh produced an act of the Board of Trustees of Queens College, appointing them to transact business with this body, they were received as such.
