This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the Second International Conference on Subject-Oriented Business Process Management, S-BPM ONE 2010, held in Karlsruhe, Germany in October 2010. The 10 revised full papers presented together with one invited keynote paper and three panel statements were carefully reviewed and selected from initially 17 submissions. The papers present innovative cross-disciplinary ideas, concepts, methods, tools and results in foundational and applied research as well as studies on the realization of such innovations in the real world - all based on the promising new paradigm of subject-oriented business process management.

The concept of ‘Ruakh Ra‘ah’ (Evil Spirit), is extremely rare in the Tanach, but is found much more frequently in post-Biblical rabbinic literature and even more in publications by rabbis of the last two centuries. This study focuses on the quite neglected period of responsa literature after the Second World War until the present. This literature consist fo answers given to questions about religious rules. The notion of the 'evil spirit' is strongly connected to the ritual of washing hands in the morning, but also before a meal, in connection with sexual relations and with visiting a graveyard. The washing of hands is supposed to be necessary to ward off bad influences. This ritual can be understood in between mysticism, gender studies, magic and embodied religion. This book analyses the meaning and role of the ‘Ruakh Ra‘ah’ in a corpus of almost 200 rabbinic orthodox response from 1945-2000. What happens to the term Ruakh Ra‘ah in these modern responsa? Does the ritual persist without being associated with the Ruakh Ra‘ah, or does the term continue to be linked to the ritual, but reinterpreted in cause of the possible tension between the traditional rabbinic paradigm and the modern scientific knowledge paradigm. The connection between this ritual and the stratification of the (ultra) orthodox society and cosmological representations offers a clue to the rationale of this practice. Questions of identity, gender and community boundaries that divide insiders from outsiders (Jewish and non-Jewish) seem to be related to the discourse in the corpus on this ritual. As the Ruakh Ra‘ah stands at the intersection between magical perceptions, religion (ritual), and premodern science (medicine) it is suitable as a possible test case for the way in which modern rabbinic responsa deal with other archaic terms and concepts that are related or comparable to the Ruakh Raah. This book is relevant to the debate on the relation of religion to the modern world as it provides insights into the ways contemporary believers deal with the modern world, and the various mechanisms to deal with potential discrepancies.

Object-oriented programming is a popular buzzword these days. What is the reason for this popularity? Is object-oriented programming the solution to the software crisis or is it just a fad? Is it a simple evolutionary step or a radical change in software methodology? What is the central idea behind object-orien ted design? Are there special applications for which object-oriented program ming is particularly suited? Which object-oriented language should be used? There is no simple answer to these questions. Although object-oriented programming was invented more than twenty years ago, we still cannot claim that we know everything about this programming technique. Many new con cepts have been developed during the past decade, and new applications and implications of object-oriented programming are constantly being discovered. This book can only try to explain the nature of object-oriented program ming in as much detail as possible. It should serve three purposes. First, it is intended as an introduction to the basic concepts of object-oriented program ming. Second, the book describes the concept of prototypes and explains why and how they can improve the way in which object-oriented programs are developed. Third, it introduces the programming language Omega, an object oriented language that was designed with easy, safe and efficient software development in mind.

Power up your Python with object-oriented programming and learn how to write powerful, efficient, and re-usable code. Object-Oriented Python is an intuitive and thorough guide to mastering object-oriented programming from the ground up. You’ll cover the basics of building classes and creating objects, and put theory into practice using the pygame package with clear examples that help visualize the object-oriented style. You’ll explore the key concepts of object-oriented programming — encapsulation, polymorphism, and inheritance — and learn not just how to code with objects, but the absolute best practices for doing so. Finally, you’ll bring it all together by building a complex video game, complete with full animations and sounds. The book covers two fully functional Python code packages that will speed up development of graphical user interface (GUI) programs in Python.

This book is SQL SERVER version of our previous book titled “DATA SCIENCE USING JDBC AND MYSQL WITH OBJECT-ORIENTED APPROACH AND APACHE NETBEANS IDE”. This book uses the SQL SERVER version of Sakila sample database which is a fictitious database designed to represent a DVD rental store. The tables of the database include film, film_category, actor, customer, rental, payment and inventory among others. The Sakila sample database is intended to provide a standard schema that can be used for examples in books, tutorials, articles, samples, and so forth. You can download the sample database from https://viviansiahaan.blogspot.com/2023/05/data-science-using-jdbc-and-sql-server.html. In this project, you will design the form for every table and you will plot: top 10 film distribution by release year; top 10 film distribution by rating; top 10 film distribution by rental duration; top 10 film distribution by language; film distribution by categorized rental rate; film distribution by categorized length; film distribution by categorized replacement cost; top 10 film distribution by actor name; top 10 actor name distribution by average rental rate; top 10 actor name distribution by average replacement cost; film distribution by rating; rating distribution by average rental rate; rating distribution by average replacement cost; top 10 film distribution by category name, category distribution by average replacement cost; category distribution by average rental rate; category distribution by length; top 10 city distribution by by country; top 10 address distribution by district, top 10 address distribution by country; top 10 address distribution by city; top 10 address distribution by district; top 10 address distribution by country; top 10 address distribution by city; top 10 inventory distribution by release year; top 10 inventory distribution by film rating; top 10 inventory distribution by film language; top 10 inventory distribution by film rental duration; top 10 inventory distribution by city; top 10 inventory distribution by country; top 10 customer distribution by country; top 10 customer distribution by city; top 10 customer distribution by district; top 10 customer distribution by store country; top 10 customer distribution by store city; top 10 customer distribution by store district; top 10 staff distribution by country; top 10 staff distribution by city; rental distribution by year of rental date; rental distribution by month of rental date; 10 rental distribution by week of rental date; rental distribution by day of rental date; rental distribution by quarter of rental date; rental distribution by film release year; rental distribution by film duration; rental distribution by film rating; top 10 rental distribution by staff name; rental distribution by film language; top 10 rental distribution by film title; rental distribution by customer active; top 10 rental distribution by film category; top 10 rental distribution by actor name; top 10 rental distribution by customer name; top 10 rental distribution by customer city; top 10 rental distribution by customer country, top 10 rental distribution by customer district; payment distribution by year of payment date; payment distribution by month of payment date; top 10 payment distribution by week of payment date; payment distribution by day of payment date; payment distribution by quarter of payment date; payment distribution by film release year; payment distribution by film duration; payment distribution by film rating; top 10 payment distribution by staff name; payment distribution by film language; top 10 payment distribution by film title; payment distribution by customer active; top 10 payment distribution by film category; top 10 payment distribution by actor name; top 10 payment distribution by customer name; top 10 payment distribution by customer city; top 10 payment distribution by customer country; and top 10 payment distribution by customer district.
