For early use, sow in August or September, in drills 12 to 14 inches apart. At the approach of cold weather cover lightly With straw, or any handy litter. Uncover when the plants begin to make a new growth ln Spring. For Summer use, sow early in Spring in the same way as above, using rather less seed.
