Salvestrols are a new class of natural compounds that have a pharmacological definition rather than a chemical definition. They are defined by the action of the metabolites produced when they are metabolised by the CYP1B1 enzyme in cancer cells. Simply put, salvestrols are food-based compounds that are metabolised by CYP1B1 to produce metabolites that are anticancer agents. These anticancer agents suppress tumour growth by killing the cancer cells. Salvestrols provide an explanation of the link between diet and cancer and between fruit and vegetable consumption and lower cancer incidence.

Many people have adopted dietary change and Salvestrols as a means of addressing dietary deficiency after receiving a diagnosis of cancer. We have had the opportunity to work closely with a number of these people to put together case studies. These case studies cover a wide cross section of cancers: anal; bladder; breast; colon; leukaemia; liver; lung; lymphoma; melanoma; peritoneal; and prostate. They represent the situations of people from a number of different countries: Canada; England; Korea; New Zealand; South Africa; and the United States. Obviously both males and females are involved and they represent a cross-section of ages from 36 to 94. All of these people achieved remission. Over the last year I have been conducting a follow up on these people to determine how they have got on after achieving remission. To begin I will go through each of their situations as they worked through to remission. I will then go through the data obtained through follow up to highlight the lessons learned.

This book shares the most exciting discoveries they made in their travels. You’ll read about everything from hydrogen peroxide therapies and juiced cannabis to high-dose vitamin C, coffee enemas (The Gerson Method), eliminating sugar from the diet, drinking green vegetable juices, and infrared saunas. Quick to point out that every cancer and every body is different, Bond does not offer a one-size-fits-all approach but throw the doors open wide to thinking about your treatment options—and even about cancer itself—in a whole new light. This book points the way toward making informed choices, based on information, not fear. Whether you are exploring treatment options, looking to build your body’s own resources to heal and restore itself, hoping to find ways to supplement conventional care, or all of the above, look no further. This is the book you need.
