The town has maintained during the three terms of the year, four teen schools, and in the Spring term, fifteen. 'but owing to the decrease in the number of scholars in the Town Farm district, it has not been thought advisable to hold a school in that section of the town the last two terms. The appropriation has been sufficient to continue all the schools thirty weeks. This is none too long. In some of the Districts, notably the Proctor and Bayberry Hill, the schools are very small, while a few, perhaps, are a little crowded.
