In this trademark infringement case, Dr. Stanley Love, a dermatologist, alleges that Regency Plastic Surgery, PC, has infringed his common-law trademark of the "The Love Look" by using "The Look of Love" as its marketing slogan. Dr. Love is seeking injunctive relief and damages. For more than a decade, Dr. Stanley Love, a dermatologist, has marketed his cosmetic surgery practice with "The Love Look" as his slogan. Regency, a New York City practice that has opened branches around the country, registered the service mark "The Look of Love" with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and began using the slogan in all its marketing. Regency opened a branch practice in Dr. Love's area about two years ago. Regency denies liability, claiming that Dr. Love had no common-law trademark because "The Love Look" is merely descriptive and therefore Dr. Love could acquire no common-law trademark rights in the slogan. Regency also claims that even if "The Love Look" has acquired trademark protection, Regency did not infringe the trademark. Finally, Regency claims that Dr. Love's claims are barred by laches and the statute of limitations. The Love v. Regency case file has contains the following witnesses: Four fact witnesses (two per side) Two liability expert witnesses Two damages expert witnesses Because of growing media influence on litigation, the second edition of Love v. Regency also contains internet exhibits including: ·Websites for both businesses ·Facebook pages of customers ·Yelp-style reviews The author has created a teaching manual to help the professor with testimony and to highlight special impeachment problems. Students will have easy access to color copes of all exhibits and media files online through NITA’s website.

After which, Olivia is to go and live quietly at the family’s country estate in the wilds of Yorkshire, well away from London Society, and any possibility of her unmarried status ruining her two younger sisters’ future chances of a betrothal and marriage. What her mother couldn’t have known when she sent Olivia away is that three of His Majesty’s ships and their crews are currently visiting the island, at the behest of the Prince Regent, as his representatives during the island’s summer celebrations. Those ships are under the command of the tall and imposing Admiral Lord Magnus Forsythe, the Earl of Rockborne. A gentleman known to be a hero during the long years of sea battles against the French. One look at this haughtily magnificent and the unmarried Rockborne and Olivia knows exactly why none of London’s pretentious young men have ever appealed to her. They could never compete with such mature and masculine perfection. Unfortunately, Rockborne takes that same look at Olivia and thereafter attempts to avoid her company. But Olivia, having seen the only man she could ever consider taking as her husband, will not be deterred so easily. Not even when a scandal from Magnus’s past, involving her own family, is revealed.

Lily and the Duke is the first book in the new Regency romance series, Regency Spinsters Alliance, by USA Today and International #1 Bestselling Author, Carole Mortimer. Lily, and five of her friends all suffered through the previous London Season together. One thing they are now all agreed upon, as they are forced to attend a second Season, is that the gentlemen of the ton are invariably arrogant, conceited, and far too full of themselves and their own comfort to be in the least attentive to even the basic needs of a wife. As such, these six young ladies have formed an alliance, one in which they have agreed none of them will ever marry. Accepting a dare from the arrogantly superior Gabriel Lord, the Duke of St Albans, in which he challenges Lily’s decision by questioning her ability to resist his seduction, is the very last thing Lily should do. Most especially when the duke also declares that the victor shall choose their prize, when the time comes. Because Gabriel Lord has never lost a wager or a dare in his life. Gabriel knows, the moment he sets eyes on Lady Lily Tremayne, that she is meant to be his. But not only is she eighteen years his junior, but he also learns Lily is determined she will never succumb to feeling love or desire for any gentleman in Society. A battle of wills is about to commence!

The young widow Lady Dorothea Fitzroy is bored with her life. Most especially so with her role as mistress of her brother’s household, and the endless round of society engagements this forces her to endure. What Thea so badly needs is a secret and passionate lover, to become mistress of another kind entirely, and so add excitement and spice into her humdrum life. But where is she to find this handsome and inexhaustible gentleman? Julian Remington, the arrogant and haughty 17th Duke of Blackmoor has no interest in finding a mistress for his bedroom or his home. He’s jaded, cynical, and distrustful when it comes to women. One woman, a woman from his past, has caused too much grief in his life for him to ever trust another. Thea and Julian are about to be caught up in a passion for each other that blazes so fiercely, and so out of control, it is beyond the power of either of them to resist. The Duke’s Mistress is the story of an arrogant duke and an adventurous young widow, caught up in their insatiable desire for each other, the vengeful woman who would like nothing better than to see Blackmoor suffer as she has suffered, and believes Thea Fitzroy to be the means by which she will achieve it. Author's Note: Please be aware that the stories in the Regency Unlaced Series are more explicit in language and sexual content than my other books.

Profiles of twelve trailblazing Regency Era women—from Jane Austen to Madame Tussaud—who took charge of their destinies and changed the world. In the nineteenth century, women faced challenges and constraints that many of us would find shocking by today’s standards. What Regency Women Did for Us tells the inspirational stories of twelve women who overcame entrenched institutional obstacles to achieve trailblazing success—women such as the German astronomer Caroline Herschel, who discovered a comet that bears her name; the French artist Marie Tussaud whose wax sculptures made her world famous; the great author Jane Austen whose novels continue to delight generations of readers. These women were pioneers, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, authors, scientists, and actresses—women who made an impact on their world and ours. Popular history blogger Rachel Knowles tells how each of these women challenged the limitations of their time and left an enduring legacy for future generations to follow. Two hundred years later, their stories remain powerful inspirations for us all. “Rachel’s fine book looks at how the women of Britain emerged from the shadows of their husbands during the Regency period, inspiring female writers, scientists, etc. to take hold of their own destinies and start to have an influence on the world. Brilliant.” —Books Monthly

Author’s Note: The stories in the Regency Unlaced, Alpha, and Knight Security series have stronger sexual content and language than my other books. Lady Rachel Shaw had believed her unhappiness to be at an end once her husband died, but now she finds herself caught in the clutches of a cruel and relentless blackmailer. Totally at a loss as to who she can turn to for help, her friend the Countess of Winterbourne, advises Rachel to go to Lucien Brooke, Viscount Brooketon, a gentleman who was recently of assistance to Fliss and her husband. Rachel doesn’t know Lucien Brooke personally, but she has seen him many times at one Society event or another, and knows him to be an aristocratic and handsome gentleman who has avoided every attempt by the beauties of the ton to be lured into matrimony. Gossip and reputation say the viscount as being a cold and arrogant gentleman who does not suffer fools gladly. And Rachel has been very foolish indeed. Left with no other choice, Rachel finally decides to risk the viscount’s scorn and ask for his help. Lucien Brooke, Viscount Brooketon cannot deny Lady Rachel Shaw’s beauty or desirability, but unfortunately she is also as flighty and flirtatious as his mother, a woman who has been embroiled in one scandal after another for most of his life. That being the case, Rachel Shaw is the type of woman whom Lucien has always avoided having any personal involvement. Looks can be deceiving, however, and within minutes of Rachel calling at his home and explaining her current predicament, Lucien realizes he was wrong to have judged the lady without really knowing her, or her circumstances. He now not only wants to help Rachel in her current predicament but he also wants her. In his arms. In his bed. Persuading Rachel into accept any of those things from him is going to be a battle Lucien has every intention of winning.
