DOWNLOAD EBOOKOn 30 April 2009, NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) applied to the National Energy Board (Board or NEB) pursuant to section 52 of the National Energy Board Act for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to construct and operate the Groundbirch Pipeline Project, a proposed extension of the TransCanada Alberta System to the Groundbirch area of British Columbia (BC), with approximately 69.5 kilometres (km) of new non-contiguous right-of-way and a capability to transport 46.9 x 106 cubic metres-per-day of natural gas.
