DOWNLOAD EBOOKWho can say when a journey begins. For John and Jenna it may have begun yesterday or thousands of years ago. Before they can solve this riddle, they must first learn the question. Once they and five other companions began a quest to discover Ring. In the youth they did not understand that all secrets, especially great ones, never reveal themselves before their time. Only seven could begin the quest, this they knew. Unfortunately, not all of the seven were sure to finish the quest and only the right seven could win. Of the seven, four fell. Jenna in desperation begged the gods, sacrificing herself for the life of just one of them, John Stewart. Now Ring stirs again. The failed quest must continue. Only seven may begin. Who will join this quest. Not even the gods know the answer this time. This time the quest must not fail. If they fall this time, this very world will fall with them.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe old art of quilling, sometimes known as "paper filigree," gets a new guide specially applied to the fast-growing crafts of scrapbooking and handmade greeting cards. Quilling is the simple art of rolling, shaping, and arranging strips of paper to make beautiful designs. It's easy and fun to do, and the supplies are easily available and inexpensive. Some of the designs work for a variety of themes--flowers, alphabets, numbers, and geometric shapes, as well as golf clubs, fishing poles, footballs, hearts, and shamrocks. The 25 card and 20 scrapbook projects emphasize special occasions: a birthday cake with candles, a beautiful bouquet for Mother's Day, a graduation cap with tassel, and tiny feet for sending congratulations to parents of newborns.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKJournalism: A Guide to the Reference Literature is a critically annotated bibliographic guide to print and electronic sources in print and broadcast journalism. The first edition was published in 1990; the second in 1997. It has been described as one of the critical reference sources in journalism today, and it is a key bibliographic guide to the literature. Choice magazine called it a benchmark publication for which there are no comparable sources. The format is similar to the second edition. What makes this edition significantly different is the separation of Commercial Databases and Internet Resources. Commercial Databases includes standard fee-based resources. The new chapter on Internet sources features Web-based resources not included in the commercial databases chapter as well as portals, other online files, listservs, newsgroups, and Web logs/blogs. All chapters have been revised, and there are significant revisions in Directories, Yearbooks, and Collections; Miscellaneous Sources; Core Periodicals; Societies and Associations; and Research Centers and Archives. The second edition has 789 entries. The third edition contains almost 1,000 entries. James Carey of Columbia University, who provided the foreword for the first two editions, has updated his foreword for this edition.
