Com a criação da Ordem dos Enfermeiros, a enfermagem viu atingido um dos seus desafios importantes. Entre as várias competências estatuídas, definir padrões de qualidade dos cuidados de enfermagem configura um enorme desafio – quer pelo reflexo na melhoria dos cuidados de enfermagem a fornecer aos cidadãos, quer pela inerente e vantajosa necessidade de reflectir sobre o exercício profissional dos enfermeiros.
Neste documento são apresentados os Bilhetes de Identidade de Indicadores do “Core de Indicadores por Categoria de Enunciados Descritivos dos Padrões de Qualidade dos Cuidados de Enfermagem de Reabilitação”, aprovado em Assembleia do Colégio da Especialidade de Enfermagem de Reabilitação de 24 de Janeiro de 2015.

This book gathers peer-review contributions to the 4th International Workshop on Gerontechnology, IWoG 2021, held on November 23-24, 2021, in Évora, Portugal. This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Gerotechnology, IWoG 2019, held in Cáceres, Spain, in September 2019. The 24 revised full papers along with 11 short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 77 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on smart technologies and algorithms for health; technologies to increase the quality of life of the elderly population;Internet of Things (IoT); solutions for active aging, social integration and self-care; monitoring and management of chronic and non-chronic diseases; health interventions to support caregivers of elderly people; public and other health initiatives.
Pretendemos, compreender como é que os enfermeiros constróem os seus sabere se os disponibilizam à comunidade, centrando-nos no papel do ensino de enfermagem e nas competências adquiridas ao longo da formação profissional. Definimos como objetivos: 1) avaliar se os profissionais de enfermagem consideram que a formação inicial se encontra devidamente orientada para a emergência das competências necessárias para serem prestados cuidados de qualidade; 2) avaliar a perceção da satisfação dos utentes com os cuidados de enfermagem; 3) identificar as diferenças que os enfermeiros e os utentes percecionam acerca da qualidade dos cuidados. O trabalho resulta de uma pesquisa multimétodo com duas linhas de estudo: a 1® linha compreende 2 estudos, de natureza qualitativa que permitem perceber a importância da formação para a qualidade dos cuidados e a formulação do modelo inicial de investigação. A 2® linha deste trabalho é efetuada de forma dedutiva, de carácter descritivo -transversal, com metodologia qualitativa e quantitativa que pretende avaliar a satisfação dos clientes em relação à qualidade dos cuidados e a construção de um novo modelo sobre os fatores mais relevantes para a satisfação do cliente. Os resultados identificam um conjunto de variáveis que influenciam, direta e indiretamente, a qualidade dos cuidados e a satisfação dos clientes, realçando sobretudo o estatuto da emergência das competências, em contexto organizacional, como fator mediador.
