Mrs. Paddy's Political Parodies A Tea Party Songbook for the New Revolution was born from the author's blog on Townhall.com. Mrs. Paddy takes swipes at our politicians and culture, often with a humorous tone. Personalities from Obama to McCain are lampooned, as well as political hot buttons like Global Warming, Immigration and Tax and Spend policies. It is both a retrospective of the last election cycle and a running commentary on current events; all set to familiar tunes.

THE CINNAMON BEAR, THE MISSING STAR, hardcover, is 32 beautifully illustrated pages of adventure adapted from the famous nationwide radio series, THE CINNAMON BEAR. The story follows Paddy O'Cinnamon & his two young friends, Judy & Jimmy Barton as they search throughout Maybeland for their missing Silver Star. The apologetic thief, Crazy Quilt Dragon, creates havoc as they escape the dangerous schemes of the wicked Wintergreen Witch. With the help of Queen Melissa & the Grand Wunky, the merry team finally returns home with their Star in time for Christmas. In 1937 the Heischs wrote the story from a short poem Glan used to tell their daughters. It became a national radio Christmas special that has been broadcast across the United States every Christmas season since then. It is again on the radio this Christmas bringing joy to young children & smiles to the faces of parents & grandparents who remember it from their own childhoods. The illustrations, by well-known Los Angeles artists Jackson & Arnoff, use the subtle shadings of fine art, instead of a cartoon quality, to heighten the reader's enjoyment. THE CINNAMON BEAR, THE MISSING STAR, is a joyful & charming gift for all ages.

In the early 1800s, Paddy Colman works on a newspaper set up by the English navy when they occupy Montevideo. An Irish Catholic, he visits the cathedral regularly and soon falls in love with Tereza, a striking woman he sees there regularly. When the navy leaves to retake Buenos Aires, Paddy and Tereza go to her hometown. Here he meets her best friend Ana and Ana's lover, Juan Lavalleja. News arrives that the English have met defeat in Buenos Aires and have left for home. Paddy is marooned. Six years later, Paddy and Tereza are married and have two children. Ana is distraught as Juan has left to fight in Captain Artigas's revolutionary army against the Spanish. The rebels besiege Montevideo, and Argentina sends allies. Desperate, the Spanish governor calls on Portugal for help, and Brazil sends a force so large it cannot be defeated. A treaty is signed. To Artigas, this is a defeat. He leaves the county and takes most of its citizens in a great exodus. Along the way, Tereza's brother Luis drowns in the Rio Uruguay. But soon Artigas and the Argentines return. The Spanish are driven out, but now Argentina stays to occupy the land. Artigas works to unite the other provinces against Buenos Aires in a grand republic, and surprisingly, during this time, the Uruguayans drive Argentina from their soil. Just as quickly Brazil returns and retakes the land. Juan is carried away to Rio as a prisoner. Years later, when he returns, he and thirty-two other men begin a final drive of liberation. Paddy's son Luis now joins the fight, and Paddy also goes, ostensibly to protect his son. He is lying. It is to atone for his reluctance to fight earlier. Three more years pass by and the ultimate victory is won and all is rejoicing. But now the English are back to try Paddy for desertion.

It has been about two thousand years since the life of Jesus Christ, but his memory has not been forgotten. The Bible is the most read book of all time, and recently movies have come out about Jesus. How then is it that Christianity has gotten so far from the teachings and life of the basis for the belief? We have gone from a man who always showed love to everyone and a man who was poor in earthly standards, to a religion with materialism and elitism. Enter a world where Kings rule and Priests reign. In this world, there are only two countries, and neither knows about the other one. The first country is ruled by the High Priest, who speaks on behalf of the creator. The people of this country have a large set of rules to follow, and because of their morality, they have thrived as a nation. Their city has large buildings, and their temple resembles that of a very powerful King. The people here worship the creator, and they do not tolerate anyone who doesnat believe what they do. The country is divided into two classes: the believers and the unbelievers. The unbelievers are struck with poverty and disease. They are on the brink of annihilation, with no hope in sight. Across the ocean is another country that is ruled by their King. The King is a servant of the people, and he always puts the peopleas needs in front of his own. His family has always been in power, but the King is growing old, and he was not able to have a son, only a daughter. The people of this country do not worship the creator, for they know nothing about him. They put all of their hope in their King. A new man soon arrives to this country, and he catches the eye of the princess. The people look to this man to be their newKing, but this man has ulterior motives for the throne. The only one who can challenge him for the throne is a young man who is in an inner struggle between the forces of evil and the forces of good. You see, the world has not always been this way, for the creator was once the focus of all who roamed the earth. What went wrong, and why did the creator let it happen? Will the forces of dark win, or will light once again cover the world? Will false religion win, or will love?
