DOWNLOAD EBOOKExcerpt from Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion Act of 1980: Hearings Before the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation United States Senate; April 10 and May 1, 1980 Environmental protection is of great concern to the League, and we are pleased to see that this bill addresses the environmental impact of any proposed facility. We would also like to emphasize the need for consistency with the Coastal Zone Management Act. The bill should allow the Governor to deny licenses which he feels are not consistent with the State Coastal Zone Management pro gram, pending an appropriate Federal action to override his denial. It is not clear whether the bill permits this. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
