Hope Cemetery in Barre, Vermont, is one of New England's most renowned graveyards. The cemetery attracts thousands of visitors every year, particularly when the foliage turns during fall. Mount Hope Cemetery was established in 1834 by the Bangor Horticultural Society to accommodate the growing needs of a booming lumber town.
