On August 24-25, 2010, the National Defense University held a conference titled “Economic Security: Neglected Dimension of National Security?” to explore the economic element of national power. The world economy is experiencing a very strong but uneven recovery, with many emerging market and developing economies facing obstacles to vaccination.
