Megiddo By: B. L. Barger In this third installment of B. L. Barger’s sci-fi trilogy, Maxine and the Commanders Qatar have been sent to the settlement moon, Megiddo, to infiltrate and contain a subversive group of Guardians who have taken several hundred human refugees hostage to use as coercion for advancing their own radical political agenda. Maxine, the Qatars, a mercenary, a band of civilian insurgents, and elements of the US military soon find themselves engaged in conflict against a radicalized group of Guardians. The subversives are led by a witch named Kensa, who is revered as the leader of an ancient occult society known as the Sisters of the Stone. Kensa and her mind-controlled Guardians must be overthrown if the humans they terrorize are to be freed from captivity. Inevitably, war breaks out that pits Guardian against Guardian and humans against Guardians, and threatens to unleash a civil war on the Sirius home world. “From start to finish, Megiddo is full of action, surprises, and emotional twists and turns. This stellar adventure brings us to a whole new world with an entertaining cast of characters old and new. As a newly married couple, Max and Kavi are deeply committed not only to each other, but to saving humanity and aliens alike. Their mission is aided by the help of familiar family and friends and new allies, including the kick-ass Blonde Squad. Together they battle the evil forces threatening the goodness of the universe and beyond. Author B. L. Barger immerses the reader into an alien world and, although the fictional Megiddo is millions of miles from Earth, the emotion, desires and heart-pumping adrenaline created by Barger in this environment are familiar and totally relate-able. I didn’t want to put this exciting page-turner down!” - Anne Holm Brown, Original Blonde Squad

Includes World War One In The Desert Illustration Pack- 115 photos/illustrations and 19 maps spanning the Desert campaigns 1914-1918 Egypt and Palestine offered the British an opportunity to fight a war of movement. Unlike the Western Front, Egypt and Palestine were undeveloped with wide expanses of land. It was ripe for the development of maneuver warfare using the mechanical products of the industrial age: motor cars, machine guns, tanks and aeroplanes. In particular, the use of aeroplanes proved vital to the successful British defense of the Suez Canal by providing reconnaissance of enemy formations and early warnings of attack. This role of the Royal Flying Corps expanded in this theater to cover the breadth and depth of British efforts at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. The strategic success of the Royal Air Force in wrestling air superiority from the Germans was the key that allowed the Egyptian Expeditionary Force (EEF) to prepare and conduct its campaign against the central powers across the plains surrounding Megiddo. It provided the EEF intelligence of enemy positions, freedom to maneuver forces undetected, and the depth to attack and rout the retreating Turkish forces to the point of annihilation. The evolution of local air superiority in Palestine, properly coordinated with the ground offensive, was the deciding factor for victory in that theater.

The Battle of Megiddo was not only the last large cavalry offensive in world history, but also a tribute to combined arms operations fostered over the course of the First World War. Fought between 19-25 September 1918, it was the final Allied offensive of the Sinai and Palestine Campaign. The contending forces were the British Empire’s EEF (Egyptian Expeditionary Force) of three infantry and one mounted corps pitted against the Ottoman-German Yildirim Army Group which numbered three weak armies with the approximate total strength of a single enemy corps. Comparable to what General Erich von Ludendorff called the ‘Black Day’ of the German Army (opening of the Battle of Amiens, 8 August 1918) on the Western Front, the complete Ottoman defeat would have been impossible without the application of superior logistics. Whilst Megiddo did not determine the outcome of the war in the Middle East, the ramifications of the victory decisively shaped the post-war world in the region.

Read along as he systematically identifies the key players of the Apocalypse and nails the satanic lie of global warming in his thrilling book, Last Stand at Megiddo. You will see clearly how God will dismantle Satan's very flawed, end-time strategy for world dominance. You will learn what the Bible says about the Church and Israel and the tragedies that await the uninformed and unconcerned. It's obvious that the world we thought we knew is fast changing. End-time wars, famines, earthquakes, and persecution are now commonplace. We stand uncomfortably close to the edge of global chaos. We can't back up, we can't make it go away, and our 'turn the other cheek' mentality only seems out of context as the saber rattling intensifies. We are the long-awaited eyewitnesses to what Christ predicted would happen. Going forward, Last Stand at Megiddo will take you on a thrilling adventure, from the tower of Babel to the epic Battle of Armageddon. Cliff Billings, ThD, is a pastor and church starter in rural ministry in the northwest. His ministry, along with traditional church, includes Home Church and Cowboy Church. Cliff believes in bi-vocational ministry, and is a licensed contractor, certified farrier, and working cowboy.

In the year 2017, a devastating terrorist attack on San Diego causes the Second American Civil War. Various rebel forces form, and the government passes the Espionage Act, which allows for powers that reach beyond the Constitution. President Meryl Montessori does her best to keep DC stable, but when a body is found in her bed, along with a coded message, things go haywire. The president hires an eclectic team of six men and women to help solve the senseless murder and break the threatening code. Team members range from stovepipe hatwearing science advisor Dr. Frank N. Stein to beautiful NYPD Officer Rachel Rothberg, who, though a savvy and daring police officer, can never bring herself to lie to her mother. Everyone is a suspect, including the director of the FBI. The team investigates a bizarre path that leads everywhere from the war zones of America to the gravesite of George Orwell. Soon, they find themselves on the Mount of Megiddo, where Armageddon is prophesized to begin. But despite the dire circumstances, things are not what they seem.
