Jayalalithaa, the six-times Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, India, was accused of misusing her office during her first tenure i.e. 1991-96. While the appeals relate to Miss. Jayalalithaa, she having expired meanwhile, stand abated, the remaining three accused are to meet the cold hands of Justice.
