John A. Huff (1819-1864) married Abigail B. Culver in 1841 in Royalton, New York, and moved to Michigan. He died while serving with Michigan troops during the Civil War. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Montana and else- where.

John Huff Sr. (1800-1889) married Margaret Wetsel (1810-1878). They lived near Craig's Shop, Virginia. Descendants lived in Virginia, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Alberta, North Dakota, and elsewhere.
John Hoffhines (1800-1875) was the son of Christian Huffhines/Hoffhines and Anna Maria (Mary) Williard (b.1774), the daughter of George Williard and Eva Lauer of Winston-Salem, NC. They were living in Orange Co., NC. He married Elizabeth Wright (b.1805), the daughter of William Wright and Fannie Campbell in 1821 in Simpson Co., Kentucky. They were the parents of fourteen children, all of whom were parents. He was the grandson of Johann Jacob Hoffheintz (d.1793) who emigrated in 1751 from Rotterdam. His grandfather settled in York Co., PA. His will listed his wife Mary Elizabeth and children: Jacob, David, Christian, Daniel, Philip, Mallena, Christina, Barbara and Elizabeth. Their son, Christian married Anna Maria (Mary) Lauer. His father had relocated to Logan Co., Kentucky by 1802. By 1819, they were living in Simpson Co. Later, family members were living in Dallas Co., Texas. Several generations of descendants are given.
