Along the way he meets a number of lively ladies who both aid and hinder his quest to keep himself and the DRAG-ON-INN viable midst some conflicting priorities which could be potentially destructive. Most of all he needs to find and retain his legitimate place within the tiny island foreign culture which at times can drastically conflict with his North American societal values, and the results are both humourous and informative as he learns what all ex-patriates must if they decide to move and live abroad. In the final analysis this story is a direct affirmation that such things as Hope, Perserverance and Stubbornness can still be appropiate for the BETTER things in Life if a little Luck is added to the mix.
