He married Mary Susannah Lamb and they were the parents of fourteen children, one of whom was Andrew Kintner (1768-1815). He was born in Virginia and married Elizabeth Simon and they were the parents of eleven children. The family moved to Columbiana County, Ohio. Descendants live in Ohio and other parts of the United States.
