DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis supplement to the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Duck River Project is issued pursuant to Court Order entered in the case of Duck River Preservation Association v. Tennessee Valley Authority, et. al., Civil No. 1130, to correct certain deficiencies found in the Final Environmental Impact Statement issued May 1, 1972. In a Memorandum Opinion of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, Winchester Division, entered March 7, 1974, The Honorable Charles G. Neese found that the Final Environmental Statement was deficient in four specific areas. This supplement is prepared to correct those deficiencies. A copy of the Memorandum Opinion is contained herein as Appendix A.
