Excerpt from Decisions of Railway Board of Adjustment, Vol. 3: December, 1918, to March, 1919 That the rate under General Order No. 27 should be per day, or per week of seven days; otherwise this position does not receive the same bene fits as other positions in the telegraphers' agreement which paid per day, or per week of seven days, in December, 1915, and under General Order No. 27 pays per day, or per week of seven days. Practically all positions covered by telegraphers' agreement are paid on a daily basis, and we feel the few that are not on a daly basis should be treated the same as if they were on that basis in 1915. Furthermore, the Boston Maine does not pay this class of employees monthly, but once a week, and General Order No. 27 provides no table of weekly rates.
