The presence of a planet in its sign of exaltation or the presence of a planet in its sign of debilitation is only a measure of its physical strength or weakness and nothing more than that, to a great extent. Therefore a debilitated planet can also be a benefic or even the most benefic planet in a horoscope whereas an exalted planet can also be a malefic or even the most malefic planet in a horoscope.

Welcome to the revised edition (September 2021) of Exalted Planets Part 1. When a planet gets exalted, it becomes very strong. However, exaltation of a planet doesn’t mean that such planet is benefic in nature. It can be benefic or malefic, depending on the overall horoscope in consideration. Exaltation of a planet is primarily a measure of its strength as well as its ease of operation, and not that of its functional nature in a horoscope. Vedic astrology lays various guidelines to decide functional nature of various planets in a horoscope. This book deals with exalted Sun, exalted Moon and exalted Jupiter. Benefic as well as malefic effects of these exalted planets have been discussed in each house of horoscope, along with relevant examples from horoscopes.
This book features a number of important Yogas mentioned in Vedic astrology. These Yogas include benefic Yogas like Harsha Yoga, Sarala Yoga, Vimala Yoga, Pushkal Yoga, Shrinath Yoga, Chatussagara Yoga, Lakshmi Yoga, Vasumati Yoga and Simhasana Yoga. They also include malefic Yogas like Kemdrum Yoga, Shakat Yoga, Dur Yoga and Daridra Yoga. In case of each one of these Yogas, its prevalent definition is given first. Then the additional conditions required for proper formation of the Yoga are considered. Finally, other important factors which may affect the good or bad results given by that particular Yoga are discussed. These factors include placements of planets forming such yogas in various houses, signs, nakshatras and navamshas. They also include influences of other benefic and malefic planets on them; the overall theme of horoscope and Mahadashas (planetary periods). For better understanding, relevant examples from horoscopes have been featured. This way; logical, balanced and comprehensive approach has been implemented in case of each one of these Yogas.
You see how the change in the sign of placement alone changes the intensity of combustion of a planet to a great extent, even though it may be distanced from Sun by the same number of degrees in different signs. For example, the intensity of combustion received by Saturn at 10 degrees from Sun in the sign of Aries may be much stronger than the intensity of combustion received by Saturn at 5 degrees from Sun in the sign of Libra.
This book features comprehensive details about various aspects related to the concepts of Match Making and Manglik Dosh. Logical relevance as well as role of Gun Milaan has been explained through 7 chapters covering aspects like Nadi Dosh, Bhakoot Dosh and Gana Dosh. A comprehensive chapter covers the process of Horoscope Matching in details. The book features a chapter on Manglik Dosh and 6 chapters on different types of Manglik Dosh formed in 6 specific houses of horoscope. Important factors which may affect the results given by Manglik Dosh are discussed in details. These factors include placements of Mars in various houses, signs, nakshatras and navamshas; influences of other benefic and malefic planets; and the impact of overall horoscope as well as planetary periods on Manglik Dosh. This way, a logical, balanced and comprehensive approach has been implemented.
As everything in this universe happens for a reason, there must be some reason why Sun and Moon move in forward direction only, Rahu and Ketu move in backward direction only, whereas Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Mercury and Saturn move in forward as well as in backward direction. Therefore we will deal with these five planets through this series of books and we will see what positive or negative effects they can cause; placed in different houses of a horoscope, when they go retrograde.
Welcome to the revised version of Nakshatras. The journey from Ashwini to Revati is the journey of liberation, as we will try to find out through this series of books. The first two nakshatras Ashwini and Bharani deal more with the early stages of evolution. On the other hand, the last two nakshatras Uttarabhadrapada and Revati deal more with the final stages of evolution. Between the beginning and completion of this journey, each soul crosses many levels and stages of evolution; represented by different nakshatras. Through this series of books, we will try to understand the role of different nakshatras in shaping our personalities as well as in indicating our stages of evolution at the beginning of various lives that we assume. This book features the first 14 nakshatras from Ashwini to Chitra.
A retrograde planet may not change its functional nature in a horoscope, in most cases. Hence if a benefic planet goes retrograde in a horoscope, it may still give benefic results. Likewise, if a malefic planet goes retrograde in a horoscope, it may still give malefic results. When a planet goes retrograde, it may undergo some changes in its style of working, rather than in its nature of working. Due to such changes in its style of operation, retrograde Jupiter may produce results, which may be different than those given by forward moving Jupiter. This book deals with the placements of retrograde Jupiter in the 10th, 11th and 12th houses of horoscope. Benefic as well as malefic effects of retrograde Jupiter have been discussed in each one of these houses in different signs, along with relevant examples from horoscopes.
