DOWNLOAD EBOOKA new threat is facing humanity: a virus that grants immortality to the afflicted. As the Human Renaissance Virus touches the population, writer Marcus Avery tries to make sense of a world grappling with the prospect of eternal life. As he digs deep into the stories of HRV patients, Marcus learns the chance at immortality comes at a terrible price, and there are forces at work to make sure that price is paid in full. Cry of the Phoenix is a free fall into a world where the long-coveted idea of immortality becomes first a rapturous reality and then a nightmare from which there is no escape.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKKatya Denys claims that she killed Mattheu Vandermeer in self-defense. But when an autopsy reveals sodium pentobarbitone in Vandermeer's bloodstream, Katya is charged with murder. During her trial, it becomes clear why she would want to see this man dead. Cry of the Phoenix is a courtroom drama that interweaves the stories of four people -- all marked by the events of World War II -- who come together on a small island off the coast of Wales in the spring of 1953. Katya Denys is a young Polish woman haunted by her past. Mattheu Vandermeer claims to be a clergyman from Amsterdam, but he leads a strange, secluded life on the island, which he owns. Robert Kensley, who comes to the island under false pretenses, starts the chain of events that leads to Vandermeer's death and Katyas arrest. Does Robert have an ulterior motive? And what about Vandermeer's housekeeper, Morwenn Madoc? Does she hate Katya Denys enough to withhold evidence that might aid in Katya's defense? -- Amazon.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKA fiery spirit dances from the pages of the Great Book. She brings the aroma of scorched sand and ozone. She has a story to tell.... The Book of Phoenix is a unique work of magical futurism. A prequel to the highly acclaimed, World Fantasy Award-winning novel, Who Fears Death, it features the rise of another of Nnedi Okorafor’s powerful, memorable, superhuman women. Phoenix was grown and raised among other genetic experiments in New York’s Tower 7. She is an “accelerated woman”—only two years old but with the body and mind of an adult, Phoenix’s abilities far exceed those of a normal human. Still innocent and inexperienced in the ways of the world, she is content living in her room speed reading e-books, running on her treadmill, and basking in the love of Saeed, another biologically altered human of Tower 7. Then one evening, Saeed witnesses something so terrible that he takes his own life. Devastated by his death and Tower 7’s refusal to answer her questions, Phoenix finally begins to realize that her home is really her prison, and she becomes desperate to escape. But Phoenix’s escape, and her destruction of Tower 7, is just the beginning of her story. Before her story ends, Phoenix will travel from the United States to Africa and back, changing the entire course of humanity’s future.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKMy goals for my final year at university were: 1) Kick ass at my internship 2) Keep hiding from my family 3) Stop frying my phone battery by accident with my powers. Then I walked into the first day of my internship at a hot indie record label to find that my old life had collided with my new one. Five hot guys in a band called Phoenixcry, I'm supposed to manage them, and oh yeah, PS, they're werewolves. I've left the magic world behind, but I'm still a witch and witches and werewolves don't mix. But doing the wrong thing was always my M.O., so now I'm out on the road with a band full of sexy, growly werewolves. But the magic world is one step behind us: there are hunters on our trail, and if they catch us the boys are dead and I'm back at home under lock and key. Oh, one more thing, I think I'm falling in love with them. Not just one of them, all of them, and to make it super complicated, I think they feel the same way. So I had to revise my goals for this year: 1) Kick ass at my internship 2) Don't fall in love with the band 3) Stay alive Sounds easy, right? ========== Meet Darcy Llewellyn, fourth year university student, music intern, and secretly a witch. This is the story about how she meets and falls in love with the werewolves that make up the band Phoenixcry: Finn Gunner, Elias Gunner, Charlie Gage, Wesley "Ace" Rivers, and Cash Legend. This steamy Reverse Harem Romance is over 80,000 words in length, and is the first in a series about Darcy Llewellyn and her pack of werewolf lovers.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKDavid has no greater wish than to explore the mountains behind his new home in North Carolina and as he does he finds a wonder never dreamed of, the Phoenix. The Phoenix introduces David to an endless list of his friends from mythology and in the process opens David's eyes to the wide world both the unseen world and seen world. In the unseen world David and the Phoenix share many adventures all the while a scientist is trying to capture the Phoenix to prove to the world that the bird is real. The phoenix takes David on "educational field trips" to meet sea monsters, fauns and other creatures. Plus they hatch a hysterical plot to scare off an over eager scientist from the phoenix's trail. David learns some valuable lessons about life, one is that nothing remains the same as one grows up. The other is... well perhaps you should read the book yourself and find your own lessons within the pages. A well written story, "David and the Phoenix" has no particular time setting so that it could very well be placed in current time. It brings back to me memories of times when life was much simpler, more pleasant and without the problems we as adults face. It's a story of childhood and the dreams that children of every age share and which we all to soon leave behind. Of course, there is the traditional fiery death of the phoenix in the story.
