In Over Comer, Racquel, delvs into the tragic life experiences of Brie. An inner city native from Newark who developed into a young lady encompassing street knowledge, education and class. Brie didn’t grow up with God in the center of her life. She had to learn Him for herself. Through great sufferings from her trials and tribulations, that taught her more about how to build a closer and meaningful relationship with Jesus, than any person could ever teach. Before her the heavy trials Brie had an encounter with Jesus that changed her mind about who He really was, and who she was in the world. No matter the obstacle Brie faced or what satan and his agents attempted to do to change Brie’s mind, she held steadfast onto Gods' never changing hand. Brie was stronger and had a calling she couldn’t identify with, until God began to strip her of who she thought she was. Then is when she began to reflect hard on her experiences and God, who tended to show up in those experiences. Brie like everyone else have not arrive yet. But she is in the process of allowing God to continue and complete His work in her, minus disobedience. He will finish what He started!
