DOWNLOAD EBOOKWe've come a long way from the Peashooter Era: with the advent of modern household products and office supplies - foldback clips, clothespins, rubber bands, ballpoint pens, toothpicks, paper clips and plastic utensils - the everyday junk drawer can hold all the materials needed to create pocket-sized weaponry. Whether you're slowing dying of boredom in a stuffy office, plotting revenge on your older siblings or simply looking for a wonderful way to kill some time, this book is for you. Toy designer John Austin provides detailed, step-by-step instructions for each project, including materials and ammo lists, clear pictures, and construction tips, for mayhem-loving MacGyvers. The 35 devices include catapults, slingshots, darts, crossbows, and combustion shooters. Build a tiny trebuchet from paper clips and a D-cell battery. Wrap a penny in a string of paper caps to create a surprisingly impressive "bomb." Several of the projects even include variations where combatants mount laser pointer sights to their shooters to increase their accuracy. The instructions are simple so that anyone can make these wacky innovations in minutes whilst also learning about mechanics and physics in a fun, hands-on way.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis story traces the life of a self-confessed atheist as he passes through an eventful, sometimes interesting, and often troubled childhood. Concluding a five-year printing apprenticeship, he is called into national service and a posting to Vietnam. By now, God is definitely not in lifes equation. Dominated by a restless spirit and a desire for adventure, the author sets out on a season of world travels. Eleven weeks camping throughout Europe ends in London. Here, while working at restoring an old taxi shelter near the Thames River, he is severely bashed. He believes this assault was, literally, to death. But by Gods grace, he experienced being hurled up out of what appeared to be a funnel, seemingly from the very centre of the earth. Subsequently, eternity became something to take more seriously. After all, what did lie beyond lifes murky horizon? The decision to try God finds him in Darwin, Northern Territory. In this alcohol-drinking capital of the world, a surprise encounter with the true divine begins a journey of self-discovery. Christian missionary service in Africa grows his unwavering faith and trust in the Creator God, whose amazing love and works appear constantly in this tale. The kid who is forever told he would never amount to anything, even by family members, at last learns that when God is allowed to be in control of ones life, anything is possible and anyone can become a real winner not only while on this earth but forever on planet heaven.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe book is totally fiction, but should make you laugh as you imagine your brothers, cousins or local boys in the same situations that the boys in the book find them in. Although I don’t think you should try any of the techniques on a boy, as it would be terribly embarrassing for him. The book starts with various sections, about controlling boys by various girly means – a how to guide and also various suggestions of things to do with them, when under your control, before reading the stories themselves. The main section contains about 12 stories, with boys of ages from 6 to 12 or so, but the main story of 8-year old Tom and his young 7-year old sister, Pam, is very large and so is interspersed, between the other stories with Tom Continued - Parts B to L, to stop you getting bored, with the one boy, being put through his paces by his sister.
