DOWNLOAD EBOOKFor one thing, the book presents research aimed at obtaining thin phosphate layers that offer good corrosion protection of finished parts. The other aim was to develop techniques that result in coatings with good lubricating properties, as they are required in plastic deformation processing. Keywords: Thin Films Deposition, Phosphate Coatings, Surface-Active Agents, Zinc Phosphates, Degreasing, Lubricating Films, Corrosion Protective Films, Anticorrosive Phosphate Films, Phosphating Techniques, Plastic Deformation Processing, Phosphating of Iron-Based Metallic Parts, Thin Film Characterization, Optical Microscopy, Electronic Microscopy, EDX Analysis, XRD Analysis, Optical Profilometry, Corrosion Tests, FTIR Spectroscopy, Tribological Tests, SEM-EDX Analysis.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis book presents, in a rigorous and comprehensible way, the mathematical description and analysis of linear dynamic systems, and the controllability and observability of linear dynamic systems. It also details the stability of linear dynamic systems, automatic control systems, and nonlinear dynamic systems, and the optimal control of dynamic systems. The treatment is both systemic and synthetic, achieving rigorous and applicative solutions, and is illustrated with engineering examples. The book will appeal to scientists working in the practice of systems theory, engineering, automatic control, computer science, electrical engineering, electronics, and applied mathematics in biology and economics, as well as scientists working in education, research, design and industry.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKAstronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts, which has appeared in semi-annual volumes since 1969, is de voted to the recording, summarizing and indexing of astronomical publications throughout the world. It is prepared under the auspices of the International Astronomical Union (according to a resolution adopted at the 14th General Assembly in 1970). Astronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts aims to present a comprehensive documentation of literature in all fields of astronomy and astrophysics. Every effort will be made to ensure that the average time interval between the date of receipt of the original literature and publication of the abstracts will not exceed eight months: This time interval is near to that achieved by monthly abstracting journals, com pared to which our system of accumulating abstracts for about six months offers the advantage of greater convenience for the user. I, 1980; some older Volume 27 contains literature published in 1980 and received before August literature which was received late and which is not recorded in earlier volumes is also included. We acknowledge with thanks contributions to this volume by Dr. J. Bouska, Prague, who surveyed journals and publications in Czech and supplied us with abstracts in English.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKWhile acquisitions and expansion strategies are understood as exciting in the business world, contraction activities are received less enthusiastically. Nevertheless, portfolio restructuring constitutes a strategic tool to increase the strategic focus of firms and achieve economies of scale and an efficient control of multiple business units. This restructuring thus has distinct implications for companies and units. The Handbook of Research on Corporate Restructuring and Globalization provides emerging research on the theoretical infrastructure for portfolio restructuring in a single piece of work and explores important topics in the field including the implications on foreign and domestic units and the degree to which increasing globalization influences restructuring practices. Featuring coverage on a broad range of topics such as emerging markets, risk assessment, and global business, this book is ideally designed for corporate managers, government officials, scholars, researchers, and students.
