YESTERDAY IS OVER; IT ENDED AT MIDNIGHT It’s time to wake up into the newness of Christ Jesus, through relationship with your savior. May the principles in this book dare to change you mindset, actions, and overall, be enthusiastic about a lifestyle transformation. Most of the church is still locked in a time warp of self-defeating behavior. Therefore, as a church, we have become stationary and not missionary. I pray that the blessing attached to this book help you to find the proper roadmap back to Christ and answer many questions you are in pursuit of. It provides and overview of the complexity that we must come back to in order to build a true relationship with Christ. We must not continue to hide behind the walls of the Church and faking our way through life. We are using the church as a metaphor to run from life. And we really have not developed a real relationship with Christ, but we have switched drugs. Now, you have taken a hit off the new drug called church business! And we’re taking this new drug as a drug replacement for addictive behavior that really has not gone away. Never before in the history of the church has there been a cry out from heaven for the true church to come back under subjection unto itself. Not the four walls of the building—I mean YOU! Therefore life becomes and experiment, instead of a purpose driven life designed by God himself. This book was insured by God and has a powerful healing and restoration wrapped up in every fiber. Every word pierces the heart and touches the very depths of the soul. Come take a journey with me as we truly confront, layer by layer, of how we became Born into Greatness and Lost in Identity. Like Lazarus, we are commanded to come forth into the newness of Christ. May your life never ever be the same. May the rest of your life be the best of our life in the mighty, unmatched, and majestic name of Jesus. Amen!

"Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them." William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night Around the globe people have been crying out for "Leadership": demanding it, begging for it. From the farcical spectacle of short-lived Australian prime ministers shoving each other through the revolving door to scandalous failures of governance in Australia's financial institutions and the moral abyss in church leadership, to the mess of Brexit and the chaotic unpredictability of the Trump administration, and now the greatest leadership challenge since World War II: Covid-19. Stable, reliable, sensible leadership has been in short supply. We often resort to the word 'Shakespearean' to explain our dramatic times. And indeed, we can learn a lot from Shakespeare about leadership – good and bad. The world's greatest analyst of human behaviour and motivation; a man well acquainted with crises of leadership in tumultuous times; a man whose dry wit, bottomless empathy enabled him to encapsulate countless valuable life lessons that still ring with relevance today. As someone who has spent a good deal of the last seventy-something years studying, performing and directing Shakespeare's plays, John Bell has absorbed quite a few valuable lessons in life, character and leadership from the bard, and then put these to good use running two successful theatre companies. Some Achieve Greatness contains invaluable lessons on leadership, drawn from John Bell's extensive relationship with Shakespeare and his own experience as a cultural leader, illustrated with an irreverent and contemporary set of cartoons by Cathy Wilcox.

Has America, in its quest for goodness, sacrificed its sense of greatness? In this sharp-witted, historically informed book, veteran political observer Alan Wolfe argues that most Americans show greater concern with saving the country's soul than with making the nation great. Wolfe castigates both conservatives and liberals for opting for small-mindedness over greatness. Liberals, who at their best insisted on policies of national solidarity, have convinced themselves that small is beautiful, prefer multiculturalism to one nation, and are mistrustful of executive political power. Conservatives, who once embraced strong, active central government and an ideal of national citizenship, now support huge tax cuts that undermine America's future ability to undertake any ambitious, long-term project at home or abroad. No great society, in Wolfe's view, has ever been built on the cheap. Wolfe notes that neither the conservatives' call for small-scale faith-based initiatives nor the recent embrace on the left of a grassroots "civil society" can provide health care to tens of millions of uninsured Americans or ensure national security in an age of terrorism. To find better solutions, Wolfe looks back at specific moments in our national experience, when, in the face of sharp resistance, aspirations for the idea of national greatness shaped American history. He demonstrates how a bold and ambitious political agenda, championed at various times by Alexander Hamilton, John Marshall, Abraham Lincoln, and the two Roosevelts, steered the country toward periods of national strength and unity. Steeped in a colorful, panoramic reading of history, Return to Greatness offers a fresh take on American national identity and purpose. A call to action for a renewed embrace of the ideal of an activist federal government and bold policy agendas, it is sure to become a centerpiece of national debate.

A great deal of biblical scholarship is written for academics and fails to edify readers or strengthen their Christian ministry. Yet, Christians need to be nourished by the word of God so they can mature in faith and righteousness. Filling this gap, The Branch Exposition of the Bible is a resource for preachers, scholars and ordinary Christians alike, to help open God’s word and shed its light into life, ministry and teaching. Inspired by the words of the great reformer Martin Luther about shaking every branch of Scripture, and with experience in ministering across Africa, India and the West, Michael A. Eaton helps us understand the meaning of the Bible and taste its fruit. Together with the New Testament volume, this exposition of the Old Testament accessibly engages with the biblical languages, gives application for our lives and leads us through each book of the Old Testament so that we can meet the resurrected Jesus Christ in the pages of Scripture.
