Arba Thayer Wood (1823-1872) married 1847 in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Ann Maria Stearns (1827-1910). He was the son of Elijah Wood and Eliza Morse. She was the daughter of Alanson Stearns and Mariah Gibson. They had eleven children. Descendants in this book are through their son, George Arba Wood (1854-1932), who married 1876 in Upton, Mass., Susan Austin Ball (1852-1901).
