Excerpt from Code of Fair Competition for the Leather and Woolen Knit Glove Industry: As Approved on November 4, 1933, by President Roosevelt Sir: The Leather and Woolen Knit Glove Industry, as defined by its code, includes manufacturers of all leather gloves, mittens, and woolen-knit gloves. The code for this industry has been sponsored by its one representative trade association, namely, the National Association of Leather Glove Manufacturers, Inc., of Gloversville, n.y. Members of this association manufacture upwards of ninety percent of the all-leather gloves made in the United States. A proposed code of fair competition for the industry was presented to the Administrator by the association on August 15, 1933, was revised and resubmitted, and a hearing on the revised code was held on September 6, 1933. The code was further revised in subsequent conferences, and is herewith recommended for executive approval. The Code of Fair Competition for the Leather and Woolen Knit Glove Industry may be summarized as follows.
