How does the media contribute to peacebuilding and reconciliation in a post-conflict environment? This dissertation examines the question with respect to the media's involvement during the UN and NATO mission in Kosovo (UNMIK and KFOR), from 1999 to 2008. The theoretical part of the book deals with existing approaches to peace journalism, effective organizational communication, and media effects theories.
