Excerpt from A List of Books (With References to Periodicals) On Immigration, 1907 In the body of the List some reports of State immigration bureaus are noted, but no account is taken of such reports contained in the legislative series of the different States. For instance, in the New York legislative documents there are to be found all the reports of the Commissioners of immigration from 1847 to 1893. The annual reports Of the National board of health, 1879 1885, con sider to an extent the introduction Of contagious diseases into the United States by aliens, immigrant inspection, and related subjects.
