DOWNLOAD EBOOKTaken literally, the title "All of Statistics" is an exaggeration. But in spirit, the title is apt, as the book does cover a much broader range of topics than a typical introductory book on mathematical statistics. This book is for people who want to learn probability and statistics quickly. It is suitable for graduate or advanced undergraduate students in computer science, mathematics, statistics, and related disciplines. The book includes modern topics like non-parametric curve estimation, bootstrapping, and classification, topics that are usually relegated to follow-up courses. The reader is presumed to know calculus and a little linear algebra. No previous knowledge of probability and statistics is required. Statistics, data mining, and machine learning are all concerned with collecting and analysing data.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis is an ebook version of the "A-Level Study Guide - Mathematics (Higher 2) - Ed H2.2" published by Step-by-Step International Pte Ltd. [ For the revised Higher 2 (H2) syllabus with first exam in 2017. ] This ebook gives concise illustrated notes and worked examples. It is intended as a study guide for readers who have studied O-Level Additional Mathematics or the equivalent. It contains material that most readers should want to take note of when attending formal lessons and/or discussions on the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level Higher 2 (H2) Mathematics. The concise notes cover essential steps to understand the relevant theories. The illustrations and worked examples show essential workings to apply those theories. We believe the notes and illustrations will help readers learn to "learn" and apply the relevant knowledge. The ebook should help readers study and prepare for their exams. Relevant feedbacks from Examiner Reports, reflecting what the examiners expected, are incorporated into the notes and illustrations where possible, or appended as notes (NB) where appropriate. It is also a suitable aid for teaching and revision.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKAs a market leader, PHYSICS FOR SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS is one of the most powerful brands in the physics market. While preserving concise language, state-of-the-art educational pedagogy, and top-notch worked examples, the Ninth Edition highlights the Analysis Model approach to problem-solving, including brand-new Analysis Model Tutorials, written by text co-author John Jewett, and available in Enhanced WebAssign. The Analysis Model approach lays out a standard set of situations that appear in most physics problems, and serves as a bridge to help students identify the correct fundamental principle--and then the equation--to utilize in solving that problem. The unified art program and the carefully thought out problem sets also enhance the thoughtful instruction for which Raymond A. Serway and John W. Jewett, Jr. earned their reputations. The Ninth Edition of PHYSICS FOR SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS continues to be accompanied by Enhanced WebAssign in the most integrated text-technology offering available today. DOWNLOAD EBOOKA co-publication of the AMS and the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University This book is a concise and self-contained introduction of recent techniques to prove local spectral universality for large random matrices. Random matrix theory is a fast expanding research area, and this book mainly focuses on the methods that the authors participated in developing over the past few years. Many other interesting topics are not included, and neither are several new developments within the framework of these methods. The authors have chosen instead to present key concepts that they believe are the core of these methods and should be relevant for future applications. They keep technicalities to a minimum to make the book accessible to graduate students. With this in mind, they include in this book the basic notions and tools for high-dimensional analysis, such as large deviation, entropy, Dirichlet form, and the logarithmic Sobolev inequality. This manuscript has been developed and continuously improved over the last five years. The authors have taught this material in several regular graduate courses at Harvard, Munich, and Vienna, in addition to various summer schools and short courses. Titles in this series are co-published with the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University.
