She is a certified end-of-life doula, as well as a grief facilitator for adults and children since 2002. She helps families within her community to understand death and the dying process and to cope with the grief process through workshops, community events, living legacy work, suicide prevention awareness sessions and children's grief programs. She is the co-owner of multiple funeral homes in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Katherine lives in Alexandria, a tiny town outside of Ottawa, with her husband, her three sons, and her two fun-loving dogs.Katherine dedicates this book to all the children who have been searching for their loved ones in this life and beyond, time and time again.
