Can We Serve Visvamatha aims to communicate to the world about the ancient wisdom of Bharatadesha. The vedas are the source of knowledge. Ayurveda is from the vedas. Gomathi vidya – ‘the science of cow’ – is from Ayurveda. The aim of all these is attaining happiness. How does one achieve this with the help of Viswamatha? Agnimele is for the welfare of all. The word ‘Viswamatha’ is described through two ways: one is through discrimination and the other is through agnimele. All ancient technologies and sciences are derived from the scriptures which were brought out by maharishis from Veda Mantras. ‘The science of cow’ is from these sources. Many aspects are concealed in the above. Bharatadesha is considered as an open university by the author, as a student of Vedic Sciences, to dig out ‘the science of cow’. Dt. 13-2-2004. Naadi (Prediction in Naadi grandha) “You are engaged in GOD’s work” “Special teaching is going on” Since childhood got many opportunities to study the scriptures, garbha kavitha, yoga practice, commentaries on yoga sutras, vedas, vimana sastra and so on. In the process throughout life, got chances to be in contact with many illumined souls and guides. It could be considered as a work of decades to bring out VISWAMATHA in five volumes along with other practical aspects for the welfare of all. As Viswamatha is for the welfare of all, what is our contribution for Viswamatha? If Dharma is protected, Dharma protects us. Can we serve Viswamatha? Let us all participate in this noble work.

"Asakyam chaaprameyam cha veda saastramithi sthithih" -Manu -12-94 Either to interpret fully the greatness of the Vedas or to understand them fully is impossible. “Four are the definite grades of speech, The learned and the wise know them, Three of these are deposited in secret, They indicate no meaning to the common man” -Rig Veda -1-164-45 The ancient wisdom of Bharata desham, contained in the Vedas, has interested, excited, and generated curiosity in most of us. But, although we know that the Vedas contain answers to most questions relating to life on earth, and guide us in leading healthy, happy, useful lives in harmony with nature and fellow living creatures, their full import has eluded all but the dedicated scholars. This book is the result of the author’s extensive, invaluable research into the Vedas and the essence of Vedic Sciences, and will surely demystify this vast ocean of knowledge to the ordinary reader. It can serve as a reference book for furthering our understanding of the various branches of science covered in these ancient treatises. The subject Viswamatha is brought under the following books 1. Viswamatha Geetha 2. Metaphilosophy of Creation Cosmos and beyond Cosmos 3. Viswamatha Imperceptible 4. Viswamatha Nishkrithi 5. Viswamatha Ishkrithi

'The truth is, Partha,' Krishna said, 'that there is no "better" path. Both paths – the path of knowledge and the path of action – work just as well. It is up to you to pick the one that you are suited to.' The Bhagavad Gita is a profound book from India that people have cherished for over 2500 years. It emphasises kindness and understanding when we make mistakes, and tells a compelling story about Prince Arjuna and his friend Krishna. They engage in a crucial conversation about the war against the most powerful and dangerous enemy of all – the one that lives within our minds. Biotic stresses cause yield loss of 31-42% in crops in addition to 6-20% during post-harvest stage. Understanding interaction of crop plants to the biotic stresses caused by insects, bacteria, fungi, viruses, and oomycetes, etc. is important to develop resistant crop varieties. Knowledge on the advanced genetic and genomic crop improvement strategies including molecular breeding, transgenics, genomic-assisted breeding and the recently emerging genome editing for developing resistant varieties in technical crops is imperative for addressing FHEE (food, health, energy and environment) security. Whole genome sequencing of these crops followed by genotyping-by-sequencing have facilitated precise information about the genes conferring resistance useful for gene discovery, allele mining and shuttle breeding which in turn opened up the scope for 'designing' crop genomes with resistance to biotic stresses. The 15 chapters dedicated to 13 technical crops and 2 technical crop groups in this volume will deliberate on different types of biotic stress agents and their effects on and interaction with crop plants; will enumerate on the available genetic diversity with regard to biotic stress resistance among available cultivars; illuminate on the potential gene pools for utilization in interspecific gene transfer; will brief on the classical genetics of stress resistance and traditional breeding for transferring them to their cultivated counterparts; will enunciate the success stories of genetic engineering for developing biotic stress resistant varieties; will discuss on molecular mapping of genes and QTLs underlying biotic stress resistance and their marker-assisted introgression into elite varieties; will enunciate on different emerging genomics-aided techniques including genomic selection, allele mining, gene discovery and gene pyramiding for developing resistant crop varieties with higher quantity and quality; and will also elaborate some case studies on genome editing focusing on specific genes for generating disease and insect resistant crops.

From internationally acclaimed New Face of Fiction author Padma Viswanathan, a stunning new work set among families of those who lost loved ones in the 1985 Air India bombing, registering the unexpected reverberations of this tragedy in the lives of its survivors. A book of post-9/11 life, The Ever After demonstrates that violent politics are all-too-often homegrown in North America but ignored at our peril. In 2004, almost 20 years after the fatal bombing of Air India Flight 182 from Vancouver, two suspects are—finally—on trial for the crime. Ashwin Rao, an Indian psychologist trained in North America, comes back to do a “study of comparative grief,” interviewing people who lost loved one in the attack. What he neglects to mention is that he, too, had family members who died on the plane. Then, to his delight and fear, he becomes embroiled in the lives of one family that remains unable to escape the undertow of the tragedy. As Ashwin finds himself less and less capable of providing the objective advice this particular family seeks, his surprising emotional connection to them pushes him to face his own losses. The Ever After imagines the lasting emotional and political consequences of a real-life act of terror, confronting what we might learn to live with and what we can live without.

While examining the relationship between health, culture and medicine in post-colonial India, the dominant perspective in sociological and anthropological literature conceptualizes medicine and culture as autonomous domains and views the relationship between the two in oppositional terms where culture (lay persons' beliefs and practices) is seen largely as impeding the progress of biomedicine (allopathic, modern medicine). In this conceptual scheme, all medical knowledge systems other than biomedicine is denied any valid medical status, clubbed as culture devoid of any cognitive content, and is seen as coterminous with religion and superstition. This perspective largely ignores the ground reality of the existence of ethno-medicine among Tribal communities. Tribal contributed tremendously to the development of indigenous medical systems in India. However, their contributions have not been documented and studied properly. This book makes a modest attempt to bridge this gap and offers a platform for debate and discussion towards safeguarding and development of Tribal medicine in India.
