As Christians or human, every negative life experience permitted by God is not to kill us, but to make us a better person according to the will of God. But the way you handle the storms determines how long you will stay in the jungle of afflictions. The storms of life do not have regards for your complexion, height, financial buoyancy, class, education level. As great as America is, it is experiencing storms. Nigeria, the giant of Africa is experiencing storms. China, a nation of great people and economy is experiencing storms. Presidents of nations are crying because of different type of storms facing them. Governors, Federal Government Ministers, Senators, and Commissioners are experiencing storms of life.God said to me in the place of prayers that 'physically, there is no hamlet, village, town, city, nation where people do not experience storms or strange wind, as it is physically, so it is spiritually'.Storms of life are inevitable, unavoidable, and inescapable; even Jesus the son of the living God who came to this world to be the son of man experienced storms and overcame it. Storms of life are part of the world, the world is full of troubles, the world itself is full of darkness and the world is full of ungodly men and women that could spark up troubles. That is why Jesus said in John 16:33These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Whether you are a Christian or unbeliever, as long as you are in the world you cannot escape storm. The only set of people that cannot experience storms are the triumphant saints (Christians who have gone to be with the Lord).In Matthew 8:23, the disciples were following Jesus into the ship on a certain day and, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea... though the disciples followed Him and in the same ship with Him yet tempest arose, that tells us that Christians are not exempted from storms of life but as a Christian, you are not permitted to die in the storms of life.The battles or challenges of life that will kill unbelievers will be promotion to Christians. I pray for you today the storms of life will not swallow you up, you will not die in the battle of life in the mighty name of Jesus. Every insurmountable mountain, receive grace to surmount them in Jesus name.Beloved, there are multiple assurances from the word of God that you will not die in these very storms (afflictions) of life. They will not see your end. Hear God's voice againMany are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Psalms 34:19-20When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2.Your reaction to the storms of life will determine how long you will stay in it. When you react to the storms of your life the way the disciples reacted, you will come out of it easily.And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish because that was one of the Jesus' assignments on earth as prophesied by King David in Psalms 89:9Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.YOU ARE BLESSED!
