DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe Cocoa programming environment—Apple’s powerful set of clean, object-oriented APIs—is increasingly becoming the basis of almost all contemporary Mac OS X development. With its long history of constant refinement and improvement, Cocoa has matured into a sophisticated programming environment that can make Mac OS X application development quick, efficient, and even fun. Yet for all its refined elegance and ease of use, the staggering size of the Cocoa family of APIs and the vast magnitude of the official documentation can be intimidating to even seasoned programmers. To help Mac OS X developers sort through and begin to put to practical use Cocoa’s vast array of tools and technologies, Cocoa Programming Developer’s Handbook provides a guided tour of the Cocoa APIs found on Mac OS X, thoroughly discussing—and showing in action—Cocoa’s core frameworks and other vital components, as well as calling attention to some of the more interesting but often overlooked parts of the APIs and tools. This book provides expert insight into a wide range of key topics, from user interface design to network programming and performance tuning.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKAdulting is hard! But “kidulting”— engaging in nostalgic childhood activities to relieve stress, like playing with your old favorite toys, participating in games and activities from your youth, and even snacking on the foods you enjoyed as a kid— isn’t. Let this book be your guide to indulging your inner child. “Kidulting” is a thing, and it’s growing! Especially popular among millennials, the term “kidulting” refers to engaging in activities from your childhood, sometimes with a grown-up twist. Psychology Today points out that playing like a kid helps you look at the world with fresh eyes—or “beginner’s mind”—which allows you to slow down and focus. The Kidult Handbook is a fun and informative guide to healthy escapism through play. Much like adult coloring books, kidulting is a way of focusing your mind on something fun and creative to relieve stress. But this book goes way beyond just coloring—it includes 160 ideas for fun, from timeless classics like building blanket and pillow forts, to generation-specific ideas, from millennials to boomers. Interspersed throughout are fun facts and trivia about games through the ages. Most activities are unplugged and screen-free, and range from solitary pursuits to ones you can share with a friend or two. Feeling young again has never been so easy!

DOWNLOAD EBOOKUnder the guiding principle of lumbung, the Indonesian collective ruangrupa is less concerned with individual works than with forms of collaborative working. As a reference work, companion, and innovative art guide, the Handbook offers orientation for these comprehensive processes; it is aimed at visitors to the Kassel exhibition as well as those interested in collective practice. All the protagonists at documenta fifteen and their work are presented by international authors who are familiar with the respective artistic practice and cultural context. Entitled "lumbung," the book introduces the mindset and cultural background of documenta fifteen illustrating the artistic work processes with numerous drawings. A chapter on Kassel presents and explains all the locations of the show, including the artists and collectives represented here.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKMy name is Peter Wraae Marino, and I have been teaching gymnastics for over 25 years. Trampolines have become very cheap and are accessible by almost anyone. Almost every street has a house with a garden trampoline. Trampolines are fun, and they allow kids to start exploring the world of gymnastics in their own garden. At our gymnastics club, we start new classes right after summer vacation. It is very easy to pick out the children who have garden trampolines. These children will usually attempt more difficult skills without any technical knowledge about how to execute these skills. It saddens me to see this because many of these children want to do gymnastics but have used their whole summer developing gymnastic skills on the trampoline incorrectly and have therefore created what we call “bad habits.” Bad habits is a term used in the gymnastic world when a gymnast always executes their skill using an incorrect technique because he or she has done it so many times that it has become second nature. This handbook is created to help tackle these problems. This handbook assumes that you have no knowledge about gymnastics or trampolines. We will build your basic trampoline skills step-by-step from the ground up.
